You can use this files as a full loaded remote control for your Traktor Pro.
If you change anything in Reason itself, it should also be synched on your iPad (so fader‘s and stuff is moving!)
Everything expect the FX section is configured and should work out of the box.
All my files are published under the GPL (means totally free for everyone).
If you change something, it would be nice if you could send my a message.
I send you then a response and you can send me then your changes to upload it here as latest version.
You need :
- TouchOSC
- OSCulator (on a Mac)
- Traktor Pro
- and an iPad
and of course my files :
- the Traktor Pro settings (right click to DOWNLOAD IT HERE ->),
- the TouchOSC settings (right click to DOWNLOAD IT HERE ->),
- the OSCulator settings (right click to DOWNLOAD IT HERE ->)
If you use my files from this page, it would be great if you could leave a Reply.

Hyas gfat,
and thx you a lot for your comment, it is the first one on my new webpage
sorry but seems like there is an error
I got this message
T’schuldigung, noch keine Deutsche Version dieser Seite.
Benütze bitte die englische Flagge um die englischen Seiten anzuschauen.
Nice layouts! Really clean design 🙂
Hyas PHil Martins
Well Yep, maybe I should also write it in english 😉
This means you should push the UK Flag which you can see where “English” is written on the top of the menu (on the right side of this webpage).
This is because I use german and english on this blog ….
Thx and Greetz

Hyas Noel
Thx a lot !
It is more or less the Traktor Screen 😉
What I would like to have, is the possibility to switch to different screen via TouchOSC. Maybe we get it in a later version 😉
Thx again,
take care and
HAVE FUN
Fischerman
I am Using PC, what to use instead of OSCulator? to make this work?
Thanks.

hexler from TouchOSC got a tutor on his page. You find it here -> http://hexler.net/software/touchosc
Search on this page for MIDI and you will find 2 links to Pure Data and to MidiYoke.
Guess it should work with this 2 app’s, but my files will not work with it. You will have to map all midi information to those apps ;-(
Thx and Greetz

Great work man!
So does it have visual feedback? so If I change something on my laptop it will represent the changes on my ipad?
thanks!
C.
Hyas C
Yep that’s true. If you change it on your Laptop it is changing on your iPad. It’s a kind of moving faders 😉
hey!
cant download the touchosc file correctly, TouchOSC tells me that its corrupted or unreadable… help pls! 😀
Hi pseudominus
Have you tried to download it with Firefox,,,? Did resolve this issue for other user’s…
Hey I’m having some issues with the links to download the files. When I click on them, it just opens a new page with a bunch of code. I tried Safari and Firefox, both unsuccessfully. I would appreciate any help! These layouts look great!

Yeaah I know,,,the Browser’s try to show the files, but the browser’s should download it ;-(
Maybe it is because the files are TEXT files….
Try it with a right click on the “DOWNLOAD IT HERE ->” link……
btw : I think I gonna save the files as Zip files…….maybe the browser’s download it then,,,,
Hi Fischerman,
Great job!
I have a problem trying to import the traktor file into traktor as it is not a .tsi file. Any advice?
Hyas Kelvin
Hmm seems I made some mistake with the files…..
If you download the file for “the OSCulator settings” ya get the “FM_iPad_Traktor_Pro_Beta_1.tsi” file.
Is this file working with your Traktor installation ?
NOW IT SHOULD BE CORRECT !
So please download the file “the Traktor Pro settings”
this is still not working. on a mac it is automatically saving the .tsi with an .xml extension and traktor is not recognizing it. any way around this?
samboy
Try with a “right click” to the link and then “save as”.
This is working for me in Safari and I get a *.tsi file. XML file ya can not import to Traktor.
Maybe ya wanna try Mozzila. Mozilla is sometimes easier with downloads as Safari…
hi i dont get visual feedback please halp me
Hmm, if you use OSCulator, it should work, more or less out of the box…
Do you use a Mac and OSCulator ?
cheers from mexico, the tsi file its not work, please help me
hmm can you paste or send me the url of the TSI file ?
it seems to work for the most of the other’s using it…(?)
Nice workss
Thx Florian 😉
Hey, so first off I’d like to say thanks for the template, its really useful. That being said I was wondering if you could troubleshoot a problem I’m having. OSCulator was lagging out when I tried to ‘plug and play’ with all of your default settings. What I figured out was that in ‘Device Setup’ in traktor in the ‘Out-Port’ dropdown, the 8001 port was causing the lag issues. That being said I set it to none and I no longer lag, however I don’t get the visual ques on my iPad for anything that I do on the computer itself. I was wondering if there is something I’m doing wrong that is causing the immense (unusable) amount of lag or if there is nothing I can do to prevent it when Traktor tries to communicate with OSCulator and then my iPad.
Thanks in advance,
~Bryn
Hi bryn
Hmm seems to be a prob with the INCOMING port on your iPad, this must be 9001.
You can configure this in TouchOSC / Network (click on your Mac host name) then / Port Incoming
OSC is receiving on port 8001 and sending on 9001.
Hey, nice controller. I am having some issues though. When i load the file into trakor, it first comes up blank. then I can choose the controller form the pull down in traktor and the controls are there. But once that happens, OSCulator hangs as soon as I touch a control. Wonder if you heard of this happening before?
Hi Bernardo
Could also be a problem with the ports.
Make sure OSCulator is sending on port 8001 and receiving on port 9001, and check it also on the iPad in the Network settings of TouchOSC.
All in all I like OSC very much, but would also be great if we could attach a simple MIDI cable and do it this way 😉
But with OSC, we need to use TCP/IP and this stuff is port based 😉
btw : if you are opening another template as this one when you start up OSCulator, OSCulator takes as default port always 8001. If you load then my template, you will get a port problem (because both templates are sending on 8001 and this is not possible). Close the default template that may be loading if you start up OSCulator and then push the “play” (green button with an arrow) button on my template once it is loaded.
